I have lived here for 3 months while on a travel assignment for a job. I absolutely love it here and will miss my spot. It is quiet, safe and actually a really pretty area. It has lots of natural shade from trees and has helped keep the temp down in the RV. RV spots are huge and offer a picnic table and fire pit. It takes only 10 mins to get to unc and 25 to Duke from this area. Both are extremely easy drives. The manager is very nice and makes your stay at the campground much easier. He will personally escort you to your spot at check in. His office door is always open to visitors. There are no facilities on the campground, but honestly if there were , they would take away from just how nice it is. The nearest laundromat is less than 10 minutes away and very clean. The campground offers propane refills, free wifi and trash pickup twice a week. Spots are level and park is dog friendly to all sizes and breeds. Would definitely move back if given the opportunity.

Beautiful country but this place has absolutely no amenities at all.

We needed a nice forested place to camp not far from the university. This is perfect. About 15 mins out. I really enjoyed the trees. It was divine to read during a day or was raining under the giant canopy. So chill and relaxing. I Recommend this place.

We just had an overnight stop on our way to the final destination. Doug, the manager, was very accommodating even before we arrived. There was a long traffic jam, and our arrival was delayed a bit past their office closing time. He graciously stayed until we arrived and led us to our spot. Much appreciated! We were pleasantly surprised at how large the lots were! Ours was a long pull-through. We had no issues with hookups. The area is very quiet & peaceful. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again! Please Note: Google is listing this as a hotel; it is not!
